People are teasing you because this question is asked almost every other month. To best explain it, your door has two metal panels. The outer metal panel and the inner metal panel that is behind your plastic door panel. You would want to come the entire inside of the outer panel and the entire inner panel. Basically, when doing the inner panel, you want to use the deadener to seal all opening. This will turn the door into a sealed speaker enclosure. We all know it will not be perfectly sealed, but close enough.wanting to add sound deadener to my new build, it’s a 96 suburban. And what about the floor and roof? Thank youPeople are teasing you because this question is asked almost every other month. To best explain it, your door has two metal panels. Whatever is metal, you would want to cover it. If there is no speaker in a location where there are two metal skins, you don't need to seal the area off. What is your purpose for the sound deadening? What vehicle are you doing this to? What type of system are you putting in it? I ask this because you might not need to go all out like that. Remember, this material is very heavy. Doing your entire vehicle could add a couple hundred pounds. And what about the floor and roof? Thank you
It’s a 96 suburban.. I’m going to have two Sa v2 12s (1000w) each in a down for sound ported box on sia 2500 , d4s mm1004 on door speakers.
