Sound Deadener: What to expect?

No, if you use a decent butyl product you won't have any problem at all. They use a similar material to protect oil and gas pipelines against corrosion.
So it appears you have taken down the original Sound Deadener Showdown and have decided to start selling your own line of products, am I right?

I finished the outer skin of the driver side door earlier and wow...it really did make a difference with just that one spot covered. My door sounds solid when i close it. However it does seem to make my speaker a little lower in volume. I'm probably just used to the shitty resonating and backwaves which make it louder??

Back and front waves mixing would make it less loud because of cancellation. Panel resonance can increase the total amount of sound you hear, but definitely not in a good way.
