Sound coming out of sub when volume at 0

I bought a new deck for my car since my old one broke and i bought a pioneer DEH-P4900ib i did all my wiring and everything. it work fine till today where i hear a noise out of the sub when the vol is at 0. the only way i found to repair this is that i unplugged a rca and stuck it between the rca hole and metal from the deck then the noise stop and everything works fine. Anyone got a solutions for that?

My sub is a 12 inch almani and i got a 1200W sony xplod if that helps

I'm not sure about a pico fuse but I read that they have a ground diode that pops and causes an internal ground loop.

When the Pico fuse blows, it causes the H/U to pull the ground through the RCA's. Thats what causes the whining noise. A quick fix is to wrap some wire around the RCA outputs and ground it to the back of the H/U.

Yeah, that's what I had to do to mine. This is the post I read about the ground diode:

Pioneer has a problem with the audio ground diode popping. When that happens it allows feedback through the whole system. Grounding the RCA's is a temporary fix, or you can send it to Pionner to replace that diode. Its like a $45 repair at most local repair shops. If its a premier, you get a two year warrantly and can get it done free of charge, and they put a bigger diode in it after the repair so you shouldn't have the problem again.

The pico fuse looks kinda like a diode maybe that's why he thought it was a diode. Is it hard to tell if a pico fuse is popped? Like can you physically see it burned or anything like that?

I'm not sure what it looks like, I just know that it gives you that alt whine bc it pulls the chassis ground through your RCA's.

I would guess a grounding issue.

get a new pico fuse, replace rca's, and better grounding should fix that issue
