Soo how many watts can a BL truely take?

i'm throwing about 1700 to mine and the coil isnt even loose yet. i'd say they can take 2k all day. i have another one on the way and i'll be doing about 3800 watts total

So. I think the consensus is start at 1500 to be safe (well 1000 safely...but yeah), then if you feel it wants more bump it up to 1600, 1700, then maybe 2000. But be really careful over 1500.

I've been watching all of these threads on the BL because I am debating between the AA Havoc 15" and the BL 15" for my next sub - both off 1500-1800. I'll make a thread in a month or so when I am about to get one!

Let me know what you feel they can handle 2002XLT, I'll really appreciate it!

uh maybe the recommended power, which is 1000rms, but with the extra options, you can run 1300rms daily without problems.

that's what i have running to mine, the suspension is still stiff and it's been a month already.

sure it could handle more if you're careful, i'm going to up it to 1400-1500 soon.

im looking at 2 18" BL's. thinkn about throwin about 1500 daily to them... i might just save more and get 2 18" BTL's and throw 2200 at each...
