someone who will DESIGN a box for free, please read

amazing, this guy is looking to help on the design of a box and everyone is trying to explain why his woofers are not the best suit for his application and yet he say "no".

if you know it can work than why the hell are you asking for advice???? you obviously know more than anyone in this forum.

he's an assclown.....I will be nice and give what I think his best advice is being.....that I think he should settle for just 1 12 L7, with a proper sized/ built ported box @ 2.5-3 cu ft tuned @ 35....

and pump it with some powa!

Yeah i say go with 1 L7, also where in ohio are you located.

no, i didnt really get slapped in the face at all. because first off i didnt call this kid an idiot. i wasnt slapping him in the face. he just decided to get a little heated there are many people on this site who would answer my questions without mocking my ignorance to building boxes or knowing how to design one. i didnt ask for his lame *** opion on me. and if he was so god **** smart he would of told me in the first post he made that it wasnt going to work.

Well I don't know what kind of math you do, but your 3.8 is wrong.
13.5" x 18" x 35" = 4.92 cubic feet gross

13.5" x 15" x 35" = 4.10 cubic feet gross

However, both of those numbers are too small to properly run 2 12" L7s ported. After wood displacement, sub displacement, and port displacement, there will barely be any air left for the woofers, probably only around 1 cubic foot a piece.

Therefore you're going to want to either do 2 10s ported, or 2 12s sealed. If you're going to go sealed, I would look into a different sub than an L7.

I DID!

how was i getting an attitude at all. i didnt say one thing to you, i said it to the guy who called me an idiot twenty times because i didnt know as much as him and i live in youngstown OH

but since obviously it wont work. i have the money to buy a single 12 so i was thinking about going with an RE audio SX or MX or a FI Q but i dont know which are better. and i want to run a brutus 1600 watt hifonics amp but right now i have a 2 channel 1500 watt MTX amp

im looking around 300 for a sub because the FI's are 250 and the only way i would probably buy a used subwoofer is if i wanted the sub and didnt have the cash to buy it new or if i knew the person and knew all the things theyve done to it cause ive seen people treat things like shit and its risky with a subwoofer.

I don't think Ionsql on here designs boxes anymore, but could try him and if I remember right its only 10.00 he also includes a cut sheet of the box. well worth the 10.00 he charges imo.

If he dont do it anymore you can always try Chad Hicks lilmanic i belive is his name here
