Someone help please

I have a 15 inch treo ssx that i want to get fixed one of the coils has a hole,ive been trying to get this fixed for a while but it is so expensive for me to ship it since i live in southern california and treo engineering is in nebraska.if someone knows where i can get it fixed anywhere closer to me that woul be helpfull.

and how do you know there is a hole in the coil?

 
eh last time i check coils are hidden in the motor but i could be wrong... call treo and see if they will sell you the parts for a recone then find someone who actually knows what they are doing to do it for you

 
Weird ohm readings usually mean burned coil or possibly something like severed leads. Frankly, without a specific diagnosis, a recone kit would be your best bet. There should be a speaker workhouse (for studio and home audio repair) around and not just car audio places. So that can help broaden your search for people who may be able to do the procedure.
