Someone double check my dimensions for me?

Im getting 5.05 ft^3 net before sub and port displacement. I used inner box dimensions

Here is my math

volume of triangular prism

V = 0.5*B*H*L = 0.5*8.2*16*40.75 = 2673.2 in^3

volume of leftover rectangular prism

V = W*H*L = 9.3* 16*40.75 = 6063.6 in^3

Total in^3 = 8736.8

Total ft^3 = 5.06

5.11 close enough..

What is your desired goal with this enclosure?
A subtle looking box that won't take up much room, sound halfway decent, hide and protect the woofers (planning on down firing), fit snugly where I'm putting it where the box can be bolted down permanently to make it harder to steal and do all that while looking somewhat factory.

I've been told to make pods (there's another thread further down titled "unique subwoofer box" but I'd rather sacrifice depth than width in the trunk, plus I'd prefer to stay away from fiberglass), but I've steered away from that, even though it would probably give me the best SQ. I dont want to fire up because the 2 10s in it now aren't pleasant to people sitting in the back seats and firing at the rear glass won't protect the subwoofers well

The rear seats recline and stop at around a 65° angle, I have 43" of width and 20" max height to play with

I'm also looking for ideas on the safest way to mount 2 amps on a separate sheet of birch to the rear of the box with cutouts to display the amp guts.

Thank you, i had plugged in dimensions on a calculator online and put 2.25 for the wood thickness throwing my results WAY off. I was thinking it was asking for the total thickness of wood for bracing and everything. I had a feeling that box seemed way too big.
