some questions

I have a 12' Kicker L7 DVC 4-ohm sub but its wired down to 2 ohm and im pushing it with a 760 watt red sony amp. I know its not pushing 760 but anyway..

1. My box is a 35hz box should i turn Cut off frequecny control down to around 35 hz or does that have nothing to do with it? And if it dosent what should it be on?

2. Another question what should i put my filter on it says LPF , OFF, AND HPF i dont understand what these do. I am running my amp with the high input becuase i have a stock hu. What should it be on?

3. What should i put my LEVEL and Bass boost (40hz to 10 db).?

Put the switch to lpf, set the crossover to 60-80 hz. Start with the gain around halfway up. The bass boost is something you play with and youll know when it sounds sweet. This should get you started. Read the stickies here and try some searches. Oh and think about ditching that sony amp the minute you have the money for a new one.
