DD had a neo mag driver. Most people where worried about he gap left in the between the magnets. They said that it looks like stuff can get up in the voice coil gap.

I know DD used to have a driver with a motor structure similar to that of the higher-end Focal's.....much like this:

I don't remember the model #....it had a straight black [carbon fiber, IIRC] cone with red DD on the dustcap. I remember reading about it in a car audio mag years ago.....retail was around $659 or so. From what others have said, it was DD's SQ sub....but I don't know for sure.

Old 9100 cluster mags IIRC...

yeah magnets looked just like that. I do not kno if it was an SQ sub. But i do that the **** thing was hella heavy.
