i am thinking about upgrading subs and amp to either 2 10" infinity kappa perfects or 1 jl 12w7 or 2 jl 10w6v2 with the jl 1000/1 amp what do u all think about these subs. dont need and opionon on the amp kuz i know it is a killer amp! thats y i want that bad boy

The W7's are great if you can afford them, I'd personally just get the 13w7.

Now if money is an issue, there are other amazing subwoofers out there, check out http://www.reaudio.com and look at the XXX or if you wait a few months they are supposed to be coming out with a super woofer.

Also, http://www.adireaudio.com and check out the brahma, and http://www.stereointegrity.com and check out the magnum or whatever it is called now, not sure if that is out yet or not.

Those are all great woofers at a fraction of the cost of the JL.

If you are set on JL, or just like them, i'd take the W7 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Like I said, i'd take the 13, it's bigger and unique //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Hey..i know your looking at JL's....but i got 2 12" Eclipse Ti's i will sell you for less than 1 JLw7.

The eclipse Ti's are very nice subs and are comparable to the W7's.

Please let me know...thanks

Nick

well id personally get 2 of the w6's over a w7. i like the sound better and it "should" b just as loud and they sound amazing. but jl is a lil expensive id say go with re or adire or a company like that for a product of equal quality at about half the price

You can't go wrong with any of your options, I will go for the pair of 10W6v2, they should sound beautiful with that amp.

Go and listen to all the subs you can, and purchase what you really like, but if JL is what you want go for it.

I use to have a 10w6v2 powered by a 500/1 and i currently have a 13w7 powered by a 1000/1. I dont think you can go wrong with either option. I recommend you go to a store like tweeter or something and demo both subs.

13W7>2 10W6v2's}spl, you'll get a better low end. Now if you don't listen to much hip hop, go with the 10W6v2's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
