Ignorant Statemnet.

Kicker has one more than its fair share of SQ awards. Hell even the L7's sound good if you get them in a good box. Just the SOLO X is built for nothing but getting loud. And so is the MT, it just sounds a little more apeasing to the ear.

ive got one of the 18's and 2 of the 10's in solo x that we use as test dummys

they hold good until you get up into high spl power then you will half to reinforce the cone or she will bust. other than that no problems also love the field reconeable

kicker setups can sound just fine for daily drivers.

That is what happened to the one at my shop...kid got to giddy with power and it slammed back and put 4 perfect size holes in the cone, and then i cracked.

The one i have...Its not mine, The owner got us to build him a box for it, and is having us recone it (Really cant call it reconing, when all it is, is removing a few bolts and droping in the softparts) Not my sub, just at my shop.
