Solid Battery - Reversed Terminals

Haha yea, but I cant learn until I try it, right? Thats what im going to do. If I screw up, I fix whats broken and learn from it.

Plus, my only hesitancy comes from the actual electrical modding. I can fab glass pillars, enclosures, boxes, etc without too much trouble. But I still remember, I had similar questions the first time I set out doing that too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Well, check this out...I just installed my recently purchased Kinetik HC2000 and had purchased the Knukonceptz KonFused Negative and Positive battery terminals - these are the ones that allow you to have up to 3 0/1 to 4 gauge wires going into each terminal. Well, they have a positive and negative terminal as the positive terminal on a battery is larger than the negative one. Well, not on my Kinetik! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif The positive terminal is actually just small enough that no matter how much I tighten the terminal, it's loose. So, had to order another negative terminal so it will fit. Until then I wrapped a couple of revolutions of small copper wire around the positive post so I could get the terminal to bite while I wait for the other terminal to arrive. Go figure!
autozone has posts for cheapz that have the differnt sizes:p:

just figure out a way to extend the wire. don't change the battery just because of that! get resourceful
thats what i did my escape has a 40r and my 51r was too tall and my d3400 didnt have terminals in the right place so i did big 3 anded 1/0 to the stock wires

Ah, thank you sir! I kinda figured that since the diameter of the positive post wasn't as "universal" as I thought that the threads of replacement posts would be just as big a pain in the a** to locate. But I will check it out as that will be far cheaper than a new Knu terminal.
