MAN!!!! I sold my car about a month or two ago and now I am totally regretting my choice. I had a 1995 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD. The way I had it modded at the time I was running a high 11 in the 1/4 mile. Anyways, where I used to live there was a nice drag strip and took it down every week to have fun. Where I live now.. there is no strip any closer than a good 90 minute drive so I hardly ever got to really open it up. I don't street race at all.. I only race on a track. I don't play those kid games. Anyways, I ended up selling my Talon and I bought a 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII because it seemed a lot more practical for what I was using it for. At first it was great and don't get me wrong I love the Lincoln, great comfort and a strong engine, but now I just heard on the news they are planning to build a Drag Strip here in town..... gahhhh. So now i'm kinda frustrated I sold it. I don't really want to mod the Lincoln because I would prefer to just keep it a stock daily driver so I guess I am going to have to just find a 1st gen DSM and just tear it apart and build it little by little from the ground up. After I finish up my audio system on the Lincoln that is. Just sucks starting over again.

i know what you mean,i used to have a 95 civic ex,put a greddy tubo kit on it running about 8 psi.could keep up with mustangs.

got the wild hair to get a toy.4 runner.the toy. started to run like crap, terrible gas mileage, was slow as piss.

tried to trade it and found out it had a salvage title.lost like 3 grand in a month.

talked to the guy who bought my civic, put a skunk 2 intake man.and ported throttle body on it,and told me it runs even better!!

man i miss that car.

got rid of the 4 runner and eventually got an 04 spec-v.liked that car too, until i found out it was in the top 5 most deadliest cars in a crash...

now i got a 2001 pathfinder and love it!!and my wifes 05 altima 3.5se.

and by the way,i always wanted one of those mk VIII'S TOO!!

get a frame and some sick *** motor and trailer it to the strip.

edit ^ what he said.

problems really only if you dont take care of them I have found. Mine only failed once due to the stick linkage falling out of place but that was only from me shifting hard over and over.. sooner or later it happens.. but it was a quick fix. Other than that pretty **** good car. Bang for buck its hard to beat when it comes to modding it.

possable, yes.. but im fairly sure he didnt put that much work into his little talon as that civic did.. Modded.. he probably says modded and means everything that all the other little ricer boys mean, cai, nice big fart can, and some nos.. its not running 11s

hmmm. i hate ricers also but i have to admit that a stock talon with minor bolt ons and boost cranked up will run 11s. pretty common time for one of those with basic mods. if you had ever been to a drag strip you would know that

ive been to a drag strip plenty of times my friend, i currently have an 84 z28 with a 454 big block with plenty of real mods done to it, cam, pulleys, etc etc that is running low 11s high 10s depending on the day and how it wants to treat me, knowing how hard it was to acheave this, im still sticking to my original statement, hes full of shit
