wether or not JL ***** is not the issue. i apppreciate the opinion tho. as you may have read im not the one saying JL is the best manufactures out there. im just tryin to figure out why this box is not working out for me.

most people compare their stuff to jl due to everybody knowing the name.

by no means am i calling jl ish(i own a 1000/1) but they are not always the answer

OP: box is to small and not enough port area

Build a bigger box and get it bumpin man and you should be getting enough power out of that kicker without a prob

yeah bigger box will be in progress soon. thats what i get from listenin to JL. ill tryin 3.5 external at 34 or so.

this little w7 12 moves alot of air for a 12. the little 2 inch wide port is not nearly big enough.

that's alot of port area. i would do about 3 cubes/32-35" of port tuned around 32-35hz.
