dude your the biggest poser here. i school you every time. Ill be at the next one. im making changes to the drivers. i just want a lower QMS to flatten on the midrange peak naturall. i showed my FR 1/3 octave and it was flat from 40 to 20k and that was with a higher tuned box for burping.

So is the OP gonna get the SSA's?.. Local guy had 2 EVL 18's hit 150+db then sold them the next week for $380... of course It looked like he used the factory specs. For all I know there was some other reason he sold them...

i think that the SSA will sound better but i'm positive if he can swing even 6 cubes the 18 will dominate. that begs the question why not do a sub that will do both better? meet my choice. lol

8 layer coil will give you more output and stll sound decent with the daily setup. if you prefer more bottom end go with the high xmax coil.

Cooling is a must..

I did worry about that... the site says 24 in2 each but that 81 in2 for 2 sure looks like a hole in the box... http://i.imgur.com/BgrwbZT.jpg ... any bigger and I was told it would be peaky... I'd love to learn to use winisd... I tried to download it tonight and the program I got wouldn't let me exit!! Maybe I'll keep trying to learn torres and one day I'll get it! I am still trying to learn...

well he does 157s from the C pillar at a low hz so he must be doing something right.
