Single 12" setups. What do some meter?

142.7 on the TL (legal) with Kicker CVR 12 and 1500 watts. 1.5 cubes with 20" long 6" external port, box all the way to the back of the trunk. Sub facing forward and port to the side in my old Ford Contour. If I'm not mistaken it was even louder with the sub facing up...

a meca competitor claimed he did like 152 with a DD 12 at finals last year. I'm not sure what amp he was using and the actual sub tho
I did a 152 in the kick with a DD 9512, 151.3 at the headrest.

Also, it did a ~145 legal and a 144.x in bassrace.

Yeah, regular cab trucks **** sealed up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

would anyone kno what 2 l7's 12" subs with a 1500.1 kicker amp running at 2 ohms 1500 rms to the subs would hit on the db reader for the box i am getting a custom built and tuned ported box around 32-35hz somewhere around there i think will be the best tune for that system

my box dimensions are around 34Lx18W20-25H

also i need a box builder for my box anyone interested

thanks

lil jon-push that n*gga

And yes, DD's make very good daily subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif They can take quite a bit of abuse.

for the boxes for the 12 and 15, how big were they and what were they tuned to?
Ummm, not sure exactly.

I think the 12" box was around 2.5 cubes, the 15" around 3.5.

Frankly I don't really even know if those were the best boxes. I only built one box for the 12" because it wasn't even my sub.

i'm seriously impressed by ur sig numbers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

do u think u woulda got those #'s if u woulda used a different DD model?

he has done some serious numbers with 1 type r and the dd's for sure. especially considering we're talking about 1 2500w amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
wtF!!!?? ur lyin!! gimme a link

The type-r 10" did a 151.0 in the kick, 150ish at the headrest, and a 121+ in driveby.
The DD actually isn't much louder than the type-r, it just takes the abuse a LOT better.
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif wow, u probably inspired the type-r sticky! can u remember details on the box?

Oh, just for future reference. Put $800 OBO, or you will only get that $600, or less. ;)
