It was Nate Munson in a extereme class a couple of years ago I think it was the old termlab. As far a DD,I am unsure about a 12" number but,I know that there is a guy that did 169.8 on a 9910 powered by 2 viper 2500s and a 170.8 with a single 9915 on 4 DEI 1000ds.
They definately have the possibility of being TL measurements, they could b in an extreme car....i know for a fact tht a single 10" DD did a 169-170(not positive exacts #) on the TL in an extreme vehicle. Also they could be TL in the port.what meters, those def aren't TL measurements.
Correct, like DD/AQ subs, all of the subs work great tuned to 40hz...which sound like it is tuned to 32-36hz I would say.In most cases if u tuned lower than say 38 hz of so u generally loud output and sq from the DD/AQ sub depending one the volume of ur box....HD3 in 6 cubes tuned to 35hz was wicked low!fyi 40hz is not that high at all, and still can be considered musical, not all subs are the same...
um, 9512's can hit well over 150 in the proper applicationI believe the 9512 is capable of high 130s, maybe low 140s in the right box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
IIRC, horn enclosures are very nice but require a considerable amount more space then normal ported enclosures.
I'd like to see some responses because I've been thinking about trying out a single 12" DD setup myself. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I hear they're suposed to be noisey little buggers but do they maintain moderate SQ for daily listening?
I wasn't sure, hence the //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif. I knew those DDs were noisy but ****. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifum, 9512's can hit well over 150 in the proper application
