SI Mag 15" x 2 - 9 cubes in Camry trunk - project psuedo-log w/ *PICS*

Paid $400 for the alternator. It was the biggest one they had for my car. And I got quotes from 5 or 6 different places.

oh and if you want a 17" height, i think you'll need to get rid of those bars. I believe i can only get 16" of height w/ them in.
I can actually fit about 16.75 right now under the bars. I took the foam layer out from under the carpet in the trunk so I have a little extra space. Those bars are a PITA anyway so they are gonna go.

big *** box. cant they go in smaller?
Net is only 7 cubes. The port takes up the rest. 3.5 is recommended on SI website.

What part of austin are you in?
NW Austin, off spicewood and 183.

The TC-3000 is pretty nice, I just want more. SQ is average but it has lots of trouble keeping up with most metal/electronic. Output would be better ported, but as is it's not bad.

The subs shipped today //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif They are scheduled to arrive on Monday so it looks like we are good to go for next Wednesday to build.

I realized I need some new wire as well, 4awg for the Kicker and some 10awg to wire the subs. I'll order that tonight and get it express shipped.

More PICS... nothing special though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

why do you need the subs to be there to start the build?
Because I have to make a 3 hour drive to where the box will be built, and it all needs to be completed at that time so I don't have to drive back and then drive up again to finish it.

I love those bungee cords on the one amp...
Hell yeah //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

My shit is a mess right now. I don't feel like cleaning it up when it's all getting disconnected and moved in less than a week anyway. I was in a hurry when I put the sub back in the trunk so it is facing forward instead of back, it's not nearly as loud like that. Oh well.

why do you need the subs to be there to start the build?
well i have a feeling that they will have to be loaded into the box before it is finished.

and will effectively be part of the car until the box is destroyed/removed.

meaning i dont think the subs will be able to be removed after it is built.

i am trying to layout the box now, and see just how i am going to build this beast.

What? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I think a 2nd Sundown SAZ1500 is in the pipe for the system. Probably 6 weeks or so down the road.

Before that happens I am getting some Dynaudio 362GT 3-ways to upgrade my front stage, though.

Btw, ~Magick_Man~, need to change box width to 43.5". Gonna try giving you a call tomorrow (today) at some point too to discuss some stuff.

Wow your alternator looked like it was very EASY to change! (jealous). Anyways I was just looking at the weather, crap say its going to rain like the entire week! I hope you guys have somewhere indoor to do this at. I still want to watch. You ever thinking of changing out the kicker mids/highs amp for a sundown matching amp?
