If I can figure out how to take vids with my camera I'll do some this weekend. Be forewarned they will probably ****.

I have a splitting headache right now after almost 0 sleep and blasting the subs for 6 hours at work. I got around to trying out some of the bass-heavy rap I have and holy shit... Right now I have the gain at around 15% maybe and those songs are ridiculously loud. My car wasn't just rattling, it was throbbing, and I think my internal organs got rearranged. I went up to 28/35 on the HU with no clipping and it started to scare me because it was so loud, so I stopped. This weekend I will keep going till I find where clipping is and hopefully my head doesn't explode in the process. Oh yeah...

The Mags absolutely destroy the TC-3000 on transient response and accuracy. I did manage to find some kick drums they couldn't keep up with but it was hard, and I listen to some crazy metal. 99% of the time they are right there with the music and fast/crisp as hell. Freqs under maybe 40hz are 10x punchier too, far better than the boomy rumble from the TC.

you should also try them sealed.They get **** loud still, i can't even sit in my car at full tilt afnd i'm a basshead(atleast i think) Mine hit every note with accuracy and i have two 15 Mags in a 5.2cf sealed box off a kicker zx1500.1.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

I've been getting copious usage out of my earplugs the past few days. With these at about 85% it starts to get uncomfortably loud. Not to mention my car is shaking apart.

I'm going to hopefully get it metered this weekend at the Mean Streets car show and USACi thingy in Austin, that is if I can even figure out wtf is going on. Never been to a competition...

After I get it metered this weekend I'm going to seal off the trunk so I can then record the difference next time I get metered. By the way, does anyone have a suggestion as to what frequency would be loudest for me, box is tuned to 30. Thanks.

well when you are at the show you should play a sweep.

and that will give you a pretty good idea of what note your car peaks at.

Ok, I'll try that.

I forgot, I actually took some vids, and they really sucked, so I'm gonna try again before I post them. I don't really get that much flex, mainly just the back glass and the windshield, but it is hard to pick up on camera.

I'm finishing the carpet job with black stair nosing on the edges so it should look nice when it's all done. I'm waiting for the corner pieces to get in on wednesday.
