how much power you you think each sub was seeing at .5 ohms from those sundowns?

Truck stays pretty solid at 13.8 - 14.4 v for the first part of the run and takes a while to get down as far as 12.8 volts (we let it get back to the 14s between each demo) -- so I'd say at least 3500 watts for most of the demo time.

What kind of enclosure?

I would bet it is mechanically limited as the DP has plenty of thermal capacity -- my box works with so much power mechanically since it has only ~2.5 ft^3 of air space (sealed) per 18" woofer in the back chamber.
