I ordered a Large Gauge cutter from parts expess the other day...its coming in Monday...hopefully ill get the wiring harness for my alt today...i dont know yet im at school right now...so the question is should i go ahead and do the big 3 tommorrow without them(i have some cutters and a hacksaw) or should i wait until the cutter gets here to do it...would it be worth it...because id have to wait till next weekend to do it then........

i do the same thing zach does. tree pruners\bolt cutters slice through that wire like nothing.

but i wouldnt do it witha hacksaw myself. that would get messy and freyed i would think.

ud be surprised, all the cuts in the "elec upgrade 101" thread were made with a hack saw. like 3 strong swipes and ur thu, no freying also.

I use one of those coaxial cable strippers, like what the DSS install guys use to quickly strip RG-8 and RG-6 coaxial cable. Once the jacket is off, I use a pair of scissors. Gets a lot of little copper strands everywhere, but makes a very accurate cut.
