i only met 1 forum member and that was 1200 miles away and i didn't wanna bring a gun across state lines

my dad came with me and he has a ccw permit and they told him he can only carry a gun in michigan.

Met this wonderful girl on myspace. She's 19 years old, and is currently living by herself in a hotel suite in Boston with her son. She's single and a model. She also has Lupus, which has affected her kidneys, and she has to go to dialysis appointments 3 times a week as she waits for a transplant. She gets disability from the state, and has family that help her with her bills, in addition to her modeling and print work. She is able to cover her rent totally on her own from her modeling, and money she has saved. She's originally from North Cali, but has relocated to Boston to be closer to realatives, and for better healthcare. She is smart, independant, and rational. We seem to have a lot in common. I've been talking to her on the phone for hours at a time almost every night for the past 3 weeks. She keeps me company at work, somtimes for the entire day. She's about 530 miles away in Boston. I could drive there in 8 hours, or drive 3 to Baltimore, then take an 1 1/2 plane ride to Boston. The round trip ticket would be about $125. I've known this girl for a total of about one month, but since then, there is not a day that goes by that we don't spend time together either talking on the phone, or on the internet. Seems like we are getting pretty close. I have 38 vacation hours accrued at work I could use to go visit for about a week. When I ask her about visiting she says "You know where im at" What are your guys thoughts on this?

gun laws ****. here, i can carry my .40 just about anywhere i feel like. in a couple weeks when i move back to kansas, i dont think its even legal to drive with if its in plain sight. how the hell am i supposed to go to the shooting range?

We just passed a concealed carry law. Where are you moving?

You could always carry a gun out in the open here in Kansas and Eug is right we can Carry Concealed now. With a training course and a detailed background check . You could always have a gun in plain sight in your vehicle it just couldnt be loaded and had to have the chamber open, clip out.
