I drive a ford taurus and I believe the speaker wire is 18 or 22 guage. Its pretty ****ing thin. Anyways, I have a pair of mach5 mli-65s coming in a few days and Im thinking about bridging the front and rear channels of my amp to get 120x2 RMS at 4 ohms.

Normally it puts out 50x4 RMS at 4 ohms

Would that be too much for my crappy speaker wires to handle? Or will it work okay?

Only costs $10 for piece of mind and 40 feet of 14 gauge //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
Where can I get wire that cheap?

I may as well do the wire upgrade. My car isnt very complicated. Only part I imagine being troublesome is running it throught the doors rubber boot.
