its called peel-n-seal. it is roofing material. it smells like shit and does not stick very well in heat. save yourself a boatload of time and aggrivation and buy some real stuff like secondskin or dynamat.

i am not getting into this fight again. if you think it will work as good as products that are designed for a specific purpose, and not for roofing a house, talk to ant at secondskin.

no one is fighting..unless you are fighting to get that sand out of your ******...the material used in peel n seal is about the same as fat mat uses...and fatmat is sticking just fine in a car that i just completed...2 layers in the trunk of a black car.

The peel and seel is mainly used to reduce rattles. It doesnt reduce noise very well. When used to reduce rattles, if it doesnt need to be upside down, it will work fine. Just wipe down the area u wanna stick it to before applying.

thanks for proving my point. no point in even trying to have a conversation with a moron who can't express thoughts without the need to act like an 11 year old.

Its amazing how often the need to explain that just because something sticks does not mean its working worth a damn arises on this forum. The sad part is by now the the people who perpetuate this myth around here have already been educated otherwise, they simply refuse to accept the facts they have been presented with. And, if this debate continues, it wont be long before those same people will be claiming they are the victims of people just looking to pick a fight with them.

thanks guys you rock

ill go with some dynamat 'or similer' as i want to jsut do it once and not worry about it falling off or smells //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
