Should I upgrade my amp?

My current setup

Amp: Infinity 475a 75 watts RMS x 4 channel at 4 ohms

Speakers:

4 Kenwood Kfc-6993Ps 6X9 120RMS 4ohms (back speakers)

2 Alpine SPR-17C 6-1/2" 100rms 4ohms (front speakers)

2 Kenwood Kfc-1693Ps 6.5-Inch 70rms 4ohms (not installed yet).

I do have subs but they aren't the part of the question.

As you can tell, my rms of my amp doesn't match that of my speakers but it still sounds great. I don't know if I should upgrade or not.

As I am typing this out, I do realize I am clipping when I turn it up to a louder volume.

So it looks like I need around 200 W RMS amps per channel.

anyone got any recommendations?

I have to use newegg.com to buy the amp as I have credit to the site and on a budget...

I am thinking of BOSS AUDIO CX800 (i'm not allowed to post the url)

but it is only 150W RMS at 4ohms x 4 channels

I don't even know how well BOSS is of a product. :/

thanks in advanced for any help.

Keep your amp. If it sounds good, why change? Besides, Boss Audio is straight garbage. And don't worry if your amps rms is less than your speakers...

Is Planet Audio good?

I still have to find a replacement amp for my subs, the old amp is broke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

It's not great or bad, but you can find some KILLER used sub amps for sale in the classifieds here. Better to go high end-used, than cheap-new.

i think your fine with what you got. An actual good amp that puts out 200w rms is going to be expensive you wont gain anything buying a piece of crap amp.

If you are clipping your gain is probably set too high
