Should I trade my DC for a DD?

I live in Augusta, travel to L/A during the week. I'm open to offers on borrowing one of my TL's, the one that got run over but still works just fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
Once I get my stuff in I might borrow it for a day or something just to fool around with it

So what do you guys honestly think? Should I do the trade OR not? I'm not getting a bigger amp than 2 1.2ks' (I want to stay in the 2kw class) and these subs will take a DC5.0K all day. So you're saying 4 of my 15's will barely be louder than 2 of these 12's? or even 1 of them?!... The thing is though I'll be sitting ona 15" with no use and I have to buy ANOTHER headunit... (about $200 headunit im trading) Chances are ill bes tuck with 1 12 for a LONG time if I do this trade.

that goes for jesse, etc, as well... it would require a holding fee or something, i'm not sure how that would work but i dont want to be out a TL
Lets work something out.

I was saying 4 15's vs. 4 12's the 12's may be louder if you had the power for them. But if you want to stay under 2k then stick with the 15's. I thought NESPL is classified under cone area not power?

I dont recall the last time I cared about what class I was in lol, I just run what I brung and go where ever they put me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Get your silly arse over here. I got the new SPL-Lab meter, some 12's and an 18 + plenty of power to test with.

Like I said, you'll have a hard time finding multiples of an older style sub and recones are quite a bit more.

NESPL class is categorized by cone area but limited to 2K for amateur class and 5K for stock class. Might have a good run with 2 DD 12's in stock 1 if you had an under-rated 5K.

I think the limits are just on amplifier count and voltage, maybe battery sizes though
Chances are ill have 4 15's before I even get a 2nd DD9512... and chances are I wont run more than 2.4K to all 4 (for the first season then Im getting a 5.0K) and no... It works off woofer size but not always. Depending on cone area is dependant on what class you are and each class has a power rating... I'd be in a class that is limited to 5k which NOBODY is within. Derek is running over 10k, so is keith so is mike anda few others I'd basically have nobody in my class lol.

Wish I could haha but no luck so far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif and i'd probably do amature 2 if I competed with 2 12's... since I'm only running 1.2k's.
