Should I trade my DC for a DD?

i would do it. DD gets down dude

but ill only be putting like 1200-1500w to it everyone here says it wont be that efficient off that much power... and ontop of that i'd have to turn around and buy a headunit... a 2nd 12 and another 1.2k and its gonna end up running me more than it would for 2 more 15's... then again 2 12's puts me in a lower class...

i would feed more power to what you have if it were me. i wouldnt run 4 15s off 2k either. i would run 2 15s to 2k if not more power. but i understand you're limited to power in the class you want to run

depends. its quality over quanity for me . so i would say 12s because i like a clean sound and good parts

My DC's sounds cleaner than a Fi Q oriented towards SQ it sounds cleaner than my 18" which was completely SQ. They're the cleanest subs I've ever heard... and imo uses pretty **** good parts for what I paid for them, my only grudge is they don't use woven tinsels. IF ONE of these was as loud as my 15's off the same power id get it but i hardly doubt thats gonne happen.

Honestly im probably not going to do it competition isnt a big deal for me if i lose i lose ifim in a big class im in a big class... and Im almost definate 4 15's will be a lot louder than 2 of those 12's off 2.4-3k. I could got 2 SA-12's for the price of my 15's but didnt because I wanted 15's and I want to run all DC (ya gay I know w/e) I finally am and its all brand new so im just gonna stick with it maybe i wont be the loudest on the TL but i bet ill be pretty **** loud with 4 15's off a 5.0K compared to 2 12's off a 5.0K and probably end up blowing them dail\y.

ugh i want it man this is like a REALLY hard decision but I know realistically im only goingto be able to get 2 of those 12's running properly by summertime and I have a good feeling that 4 of these 15's will get a lot louder off said power. im more a demo person than competition anyways.

I can't fit an 18 in a proper enclosure in my trunk lol. I can fit 3.5 cubes tops
