Should I take this?

Well on tuesday i was walkin outta work and saw an old g/f and decided to talk to her and ended up hangn with her all nite but she recently graduated and has some kickass job up north where she has all the money she can get. She bought a new truck and a nice alpine system for it. She either has the Alpine CDA-9853 or the Alpine CDA-985 hu and she told me she dint want it anymore and offered to give it to me absolutly free of charge. At the moment I have a Pioneer DEH-P4600MP, would this be a nice gift or is this hu not worth it. I did a lil research on it and personally I dont have any experience with Alpine hu's but thought this would be a nice upgrade.

What do u guys think?

A lot of people have had theirs break when the model first came out. And some people don't like the glide touch either. I've never owned this headunit, but i haven't played with it in a shop, and didn't really mind the glide thouch.

If it really is a 9853 I really wouldn't take it for free.. like wether or not she's loaded thats just taking straight advtange. She prolly paid a pretty penny for it...

NOW on the other hand. how close where you 2? how much did you spend on her while you dated? to many things to consider but for me even if i had dated the girl 2 years and spent 10s o thousands on her.. i'd still offer her atleast 100 - 150 for it...
