should i start a worklog?

Plus it would be a pretty large waste of time, effort and space. Much more logical and effective to just use the 12's over the entire subbass frequency range.

As for the rest of the system......do as you please. I can tell you right now, without ever hearing it, what the problems are. But if you want to find out first hand, go for it. Just be sure you have a nice reference system, so you can hear the difference between what the music should sound like, and how yours sounds.

you will waste a whole lot of time doing this how you think you want it. why would u want to have more subs..and less bass...go with 2 12s or 3 12s if you want to get another 12.

Also not a very good plan to put the 3.5's under the front seats facing forward. Not sure why you would choose to do that.
Also not a very good idea to put the Blau's in the middle of the car. Would one speaker or a pair be down there? How are you running them, with a left and right signal?
^^listen to this man..he knows his shit

don't discourage him, i personally would like to see how this comes out. i had a similar idea with mixing sizes, i just haven't had money to do it. i say if you have money to toy around with like that, go for it and tell us all how it sounds afterwards.

But why would you want to get a (good) possibility of less bass for for subs...it doesnt make sense to me but as said above do as you please. if your going to do it...do it right

I say if you have the money to toy around with technically infeasible ideas, I've got an address you can send a check to, I've got some technically feasible projects I could use funding for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D

Doubtful, as most 10's don't have the high frequency response to pass as midwoofers...
Wow... Last time i checked I didn't think 50-100hz was midwoofer range. Since i have the means, and i have been using the search function :) to be looking for old threads about this, and i have some amps lying around, I think i'm going to put the 12's on thier own amp to play 20/25-50hz, and put the 10 on a different amp at 50-100hz.

I'm still seriously curious as to why you want to do this? Just because?

I'm running my fronts down to 40hz.

I don't understand why you just don't listen....

This forum is setup for people to get help. If youy want your stereo to sound good learn from the experiences of others. I had a guy ask me a question on wiring an amp at my place of employement (autozone). I went outsided and he was blaring 3 different subs (size and brand) in differet boxes with different amounts of power and it sounded like complete poo. You will save a ton of money allowing more expereinced then yourself to guide you.
