Should I look into deadening my car soon?

25 will be enough to get a nice helping in the trunk and back deck. A roller is not 100% necessary but makes life easier. A clean surface, some elbow grease and a few hours will do the job. Realize though that once you cut it the edges get very sharp and when not using a roller you may cut your fingers a few times.

Sorry this is a dumb question... but what is the back deck? The area behind my seats?

the rear deck where the center light and rear speakers are located right behind the rear headrest in some cars but not all yours may differ.

I feel like if I deaden my car, I wouldn't even notice the difference unless I am outside of my car. Am I right?

Especially with two SA12s on 1600 watts. I'm probably wrong though

I have a Honda Fit, so I'm doing the back hatch/trunk area, and then also all the doors. Everyone says that sealing the doors up with deadner will help a lot with tighter midbass output from the main speakers. Could be that once you deaden the trunk, then you'll be more conscious of any rattling in the doors.

Can I get some last opinions? How many Square feet of deadener will I need to take care of the trunk? Most likely going with audio technix.
