Should I go Kicker L7

Well after some thought. I am seriously leaning towards a 15" L7. Thinking of a 6 cu ft ported box tuned to 50hz.

Will 1000 watts be enough?

1000 will be enough, but you could do more....

im giving my 12" L7 about 1000 watts

im going with 2 12's and im only gonna give them 600 watts and 3 cubes apiece tune to about 38hz. the box is going to take up my whole trunk. i hear they get super loud. i will let you know how it sounds.

Either that but the 10" L5s have my eye also.

right now i currently have 2 12" L7's in 1.9 cubes each...If I were to fill my entire trunk, i could get about 3 cubes each. i may be adding another L7 ( 3 together), so that would make it 2 cubes per sub, giving each about 600 watts

hey man i would stay with two twelves and have someone on the forum build you a box.

mdiagica built me a ported box in which i will picking up from ups in a couple of hours. there's also loneranger. there are others. i believe them subs need more airspace.

fam if your serious, I would reccomend, 2 15's of the l7's, they have been fairing very well in SPL comps

i have only heard of a few bad installs where they didn't pound

there's just something about these kicker l5 and l7's that make me want it.. i know i know i got a w7 but, i just want a l7 just to say i've had one.. maybe when i get 2 cars i'll be able to have best of both worlds...

anyone got db numbers?

2 12" L7's in a 1.9 cubes each. ported. I hit 148.6 not bad for a Pre Fab Box

now i have a custim box, about 3 cubes each,still ported..and i should be hittin at about 151
