I'm looking for a cheap router, less than $100 and this will come out to $90 shipped. And i've heard nothing but good things about Ryobi...I'm just tired of jigsawing everything. i will just be using it for sub cutouts and possibly rectangular port cutouts. is this gonna be good for me?

i know its a refurb but it has a 1 year factory warranty so it seems like an ok deal to me....if it breaks after a year it'll be time for a new one anyway...

i got the exact same one from home depot, brand new for 100. havent used it yet, but from what i read it will do the job

ive got a couple ryobi tools.. tablesaw and drill. ive had no complaints. i left the drill in a bucket of water for a couple days.. it still works minus reverse haha.

i've checked walmarts around here....they don't sell any routers at all for some reason...

hardware stores only have B&Ds and dewalts for $200+...

but i'll go check out lowes' prices next time i get a chance...

I have the same router, and it works great. I got it for $54 from Amazon.com, as a refurb with a one year warrenty. You might want to check there. You can also get a Japser Jig from Amazon for like $29, so you can make some perfect circles.

a plunge bit that's atleast 3/4" and a roundover bit should be what you need...

i got a ryobi at home depot for around 50 bucks. it works great for being their cheapest...

well i got it in today, everything's in perfect shape, was just wondering where i could find a cutting bit for it, it only came with a 1/4" collet adaptor and 2 screws, not sure what they are for.

You could find them anywhere. Go to sears they have a wide variety of selections. Or Home Depot/Lowes. Get a Straight Bit for cutting normal holes etc, and a Round-Over bit for rounding corners.
