Don't have the measuring tape inside the house but im guessing about 8" maybe a little more.

Now im leaning more towards the Solo X...have the money on me right now plus I can order an alternator too. Then it will be faster for me to get another D5000.

I think I would be better of with four 6" aeroports going to one 18" Solo X and like I said it would be easier to get a bigger alt (300 amp) and another D5000. I will get everything sooner. Plus the Solo X is new.

Only problem would be for now is that it's DVC 1 (the solo x) and I only have one D5000.

It's a hard decision though:crap: I made all these threads before about which one and read a whole mess of threads but now when you have the money in hand and ready to buy it's different...

$900 for two 18" MTs

$790 for one 18" Solo X

I have $760 on me. I can borrow $30 from some one easily...Or I could wait until Friday...hope that some kid is going to buy my remaining L7s in school for $450 and buy two BRAND NEW MTs...but then I wouldn't have any money left for an alternator...This is what makes me lean towards the Solo X...I could afford a good alt too and get another amp sooner.

Solo X sounds like shit....Wouldnt use it as a daily. I would go with the MT's.

but you can get two MT18's for the price of one new, and you can have a SPL vehicle and a daily driver.

or you can have a better SPL car OR a better daily driver.

you have more options with 2 than one. so go with the mts

I really really want to go with the MTs man...RE audio quoted me $525 for each 18" MT that's $1,050.00 I don't have that money. I could if I sell the remaining L7s but the again I won't have the power to power them up properly nor the electrical.
With one 18" Solo X I will have the electrical and it will be easier for me to get another amp to power it properly.

GO with the two used mt's that way it will be about is much as the solox money wise...... And put one of those orions on each mt and call it a day.....????
