Should I Get A Warranty???

you should get 90 days anyway, i would install them and run em hard in the first 90, if they dont die back off a little and your good. extended warrenty not needed if you cant kill em in 90 days.....imo?

that is a good point. if your installing them when they get to your door then the 90 should be enough. but iif your pieceing together things before you install then the extended may come in handy.

peace of mind = ftw.

 
Depends where you purchase them from. Ive warrantied a few pieces and they were well after 90days. Which is NOT the standard warranty term. In a rare occassion or two I just replaced an entire set, as I could not figure out or duplicate the problem the person was having.

 
Honestly I believe the only way you can pop speakers is if you are stupid and run way too much power to them or they are defective- which will usually manifest itself very quickly. I think an extended warranty is a waste of money on speakers if you are going to feed them a clean signal (not run the piss out of your amp so it clips all the time because you jacked the gain to make it louder) And the amp doesn't far exceed the speakers power handling ability.
