Should I get a Orion 2500D, or a Kicker 2500.1

and then there is always the XX Colossus I was considering...but I dont know if I want to cough up the extra cash for it....and it has no fans for cooling.

XX colossus dont get hot enough to need internal fans and if ur vehicle gets that hot during the summer I dont see how you'd ride in that thing . Internal amp fans IMO are bit of a pain I've seen 3 fans go out in diff amps before anythign else on the amp.

after researching and debating whether to get a colossus or a 2500d, i think the 2500d is a better amp. The colossus pulls alot of current and is very inefficient 200+ amps, and put out only 1500 rms at 2 ohms acoording to tcab's test. 2500d has been benched at 2600 rms at 1 ohm at 12 volts.

hopefully it will be here soon, bought it from kindoftheparkinglot , will be running right now on just 2 type r's at either 0.5 or 2 ohm

Id like to see that test again with 2 different amps (of the same models though)

well ive gotten 24xx watts out of my 2500D @ .5 nominal 1.3 with rise. the 2500D shines on 16v though...it does massive power, 3000+

thats the other amp I am looking to get..but I cant find it anywhere under 600\

and if im goign to pay more than 600..i might as well get an XX Colossus.

come on...there has to be more reviews about this amp.

I love my 600.1. Its a great amp. Does more power than it says it will.. My amp actually makes 725 watts. One thing that I love about it is the remote gain.
