Should I get a Orion 2500D, or a Kicker 2500.1

Which one is the best for the buck....is the kicker worth the extra 100 bucks? Is it as compatible and Stable as the 2500D? I am going to get one of these for sure, so any help would be great. Thanks

Also does anyone know a good site to get either one of these for cheap...or if anyone here has access to get them that would be great...i'd throw you a few extra bucks for a hookup!!

i like the kicker but i thought it was 2 ohm stable and the orion is 1 ohm

the kicker will do as low as .7 and produce crazy power. what do you plan to run with it?

WELL FOR NOW IM Just going to run 2 12" Type R's in a TCAB box...but I want extra power for the future also......so is the kx 2500.1 2 ohm stable...or down to .7?

I have used 2 1250.1 kicker amps and done them at some really low impediance.

also for about a week ran a 2500 kicker at 1 ohm not a single problem... it did get alil hot tho

cant say which amp is better since i have no experiences with kicker. The orion is a hell of an amp and has been run .5ohms daily by some people on this forum. I will be wiring mine to .75 ohms. The wc5000d is pretty cheap on ebay and is the same amp theres pics of the internals on termpro.com

haha..yikes..i dont need something that big...I dont plan on building anything big enough any time soon to utilize all that power...im getting a hatchback, or a Honda CR-V

if your asking if a kx 2500.1 can be ran at 1 ohm you shouldnt be buying one. im surprised nobody has said that yet. you would have to send it some serious voltage to be able to keep it there, and like ecko said it will get hot.

get the orion 2500d
