There is a guy down the street from me and when he passes by his system like shakes my house windows and i want something like that ,so would i be like that with 2 12" MTX 9500's on the 1501 D with a ported box.

Yes.... for sure... I would go with Re XXX, Adire Audio, W7, or an the MTX's... one 12" will do the job.

if your just looking for something to turn head and don't really care for sq i would go with 2 kicker L7's, but if u want something loud and sounds clear get the mentioned above

The MTX 9500 series pumps out some serious bass, but it probably has the worst SQ I have ever heard from ANY subwoofer.

I stlll feel SQ is subject for the most part, and the quality of the install makes all the difference,

 

the MTX is a capable woofer that can take a ton of power

i have never heard an mtx 9500 but i do own a 13w7 and i have heard that they are realataively comparable. trust me the 13w7 gets very loud ported.

If you are looking for all out bass, we first need to know your budget. But I would reccomend the real 9500 series, from DD.

To make something loud, its about 80% install, or possibly more. The box is vverrrry important.

They have no SQ. I don't recall the box, but the kid that owned it isn't a complete idiot. It just sounded like ***. And it isn't compareable to the JLw7 whoever said that. Maybe loudness (can't recall) but definately not SQ.

I want to point out that there are a ton of people that don't think of themselves as noobs. However there are only a few that know about proper gain settings. Its probably the #1 culprit of "poor sounding" good quality subs. Everyone thinks L7's are fart cannons. Mine however, sound fantastic. Why you ask? Because of years of experience. Great box, proper settings, and a smidge of processing.

The point I am so poorly trying to get to is, the 9500's are good speakers. Just don't crank the gains on the power plant and they'll sound good while getting loud.(everything being equal)
