the 15s are only good if u dont care about haveing 2 15s that dont get loud nor would they sound good even at 2 ohms seeing like 400-500 watts. crap

i just got 4 12s there made by ID but the company that sold them where called tidal audio. they went under and wooferetc has them for like 70 each. they have a low fs and a high xmax. they like lower tunning and can handle 300-400 watts and u can get 4 of them and wire them to 1 ohm if u want. they like sealed boxs i have them in a box that is a tad under 4.5 cubic feet sealed.

4 12"s is what I'd do, but I agree with saving up to buy a better sub.

Get 3 of these for $150, they will blow the Kicker away in ever single way. Looks, output, SOUND QUALITY, reliability...the list goes on. You seriously cannot beat that price.
