I'm sure this is a very noob question and I need some help guys.
I was at my local audio shop and I'm thinking of picking up a set of Boston Pro60's or Pro60 SE's
anyways, when I was talking to them, they recommended that I do components up front, and coaxials in the rear. (not sure what I would get for the rear)
Now, my question is should I do components up front, nothing in the back, components all around, or like they said, components up front and coaxials in the rear.
Also, any feedback on the Pro60 component speakers? I listened to some JL (junk imo), MB Quarts (decent) and the Pro60's blew them all away. They did get some SE's in and will be setting them up so I can give them a listen to later this week. If I do just the fronts, I want it to be no more than $500 a pair. I wanted to test out some Dynaudio's but the closest dealer is over 90 minutes away.
I'm basically looking for a clean sound that isn't tinny. I was really impressed with the boston components.. They were so clean and easily the least "tinny" than the ones I've listen to. For music, I mostly listen to mostly rock/metal and sometimes daft punk thrown in the mix. Also, if it helps, the car its going into is a 01 vw jetta, with a p800prs powering it (installing it later this week) and a boston 10" sub/rockford amp.
Also, while I'm asking a ton of noob questions, might as well ask this. What would be a good clean amp for powering the components? (preferably less than $500)
Thanks guys
