Should I disconnect 6x9s?

What should I do. I have a 97 grand am and one of my stock rear speakers doesn't work. I don't want to but I could take out the back seats and all that shit and replace them. Or should I just cut the power off from them. Or should I just let one 6x9 play.

I also ordered new front door speakers too.

Fade the HU to the front until you replace them...

If your installing a sub..no need for them. Disconnect them.

Yeah I've got two 12 kicker comps so I don't hear much from the back anyway. I faded my HU to the front. Will there be emptiness from the back on rock songs? Sould I get two 6x9 boxes for 10 dollars each?
