Should I change to DD1512 ?

Hello guys,

I'm from Brazil, and my english isn't so perfect. If you don't understand something just ask me ok.

I have 2 Kicker's L5 12" (06 model) and recently Digital Designs started producing subwoofers here in my country. I felt very interested in it's products because I read a lot of good things about it. But here few people have already heard both of them.

So I'd like to ask you... is the DD1512 louder as a Kicker L5 ? I know they have a good sound quality but I'd like to know about its SPL.

I don't think to many ppl would call the DD subs SQ subs but they are really known for getting loud as hell. I have not heard the Kicker L5 but I have heard a 1510, single 1508 and 3 1508's. They are impressive subs. I don't think you can go wrong with the DD subs if your looking for something loud. id do dd, where im from, almost everyone has kicker, i used to run mtx to be diferent, but if i had a chance at dd, id take it

are u going for sq or spl if u have the power and the money and the air space go with the 95s thay will sound better hit harder and last longer i am not a kicker fan but i had a 9515 last me 8 years untill i got evof power and blew it on a overpowering amp

I'm sure that 95's are great subs but I think they are too much expansive for what I want.

Yes, mainly when we are talking about Kicker Square Subwoofer's... here in my city have a lot of people using them and there are another brands trying to make something like them.

They are really good for SPL beacuse it's bigger cone area but I'm sure that there are a lot of round subs that can do the job better then them.
