really depends on your definition of loud (your definition is probably different then mine, lol)... and what enclosure you put it in.

and their rated at 450.... but can handle more.... just dont try to throw like 1500 watts on it (i've seen the results of that mistake first hand)

american bass subs pound pretty good. i had one in a 1.0 cubic sealed (12) and it hit hard on about 750 watts. it was rated for 600
