Any thoughts on this design?

Well I'm trying to design and enclosure to fit into my tiny 2008 Kia Rio's Trunk the sub I'll be using is a TC Sounds/PSI 3hp 18" (Its the axis 3hp motor) I'll just need some answers as to weather or not this design would work well. Here it is.

Dimensions: 15"H x 29" W x 28.5" D

Sub Upward

Sub Displacement: 0.22

# of Extra 3/4" Baffles: 1

Baffle Displacement: 0.32

Net Volume: 5.00 cubic ft

Tuning Frequency: 28.21 hz

Port Specs: I'll be using a single 6" Aero that is 14.75" long with it firing towards the drivers side of the trunk at the very back to give it something to load off of and to cut down on port noise I'm wanting to know if this method would be effective.

id bring the tuning up to about 32hz unless you are looking for vehicle shaking bass and. at that low of a tuning you are going to have problems catching the upper bass frequencies. not that the sub wont catch them it just wont play them with as much authority.

Definitely get TSPs for a proper design if at all possible.

Also, fire into the passenger wheel well.

32 is low enough. That will get you measurable output into the high/mid 20s no problem. Especially with such a large sub in a car.

JRouter: If you can clearly define to me what sub he has and present manufacturers specs, then I wont call it a no-name sub. That was simply an alias given due to the fact it is a custom woofer with no published specs.

your box shouldn't be that deep if you add sq footage somewhere else and make it about 20inches 22inches deep at most you will get a better sound, unless you plan to fill the back with poly fill.

I stand corrected looked at it again and it does say TC and it does look like a custom sub.
