No id buy a ppi bk1800.1 before that

i can personally vouch for that amp. it is great for a budget amp. i have a used one that was replaced with my saz1500 but i loved the brx. never used a ppi so i cant say i know how it compares to it. but on stock electrical i never dropped below 13.8 with it

Youve never heard of ppi? They used to make some bad *** old school stuff ..now someone else owns them...the bk and phantom lines are very solid budget stuff..i run the bk 800.4 on my mids n tweets amd love it

The Hifonics amp is a decent budget amp. I can't speak to the new PPI stuff but from what I've heard it's also pretty good budget gear.

Last time I ran PPI was ~1989. This was my subwoofer amp:

I got the same amp and it does great for me. Definitely a good budget amp from first hand experience.
