any difference in bridged 2 ch vs a mono amp ?

hi guys,

i was just thinking if getting a mono block 1ch amp for my sub would be better the bridging my 2 ch amp ?

if i was to pick a mono amp the same rms rating as my 2 ch will i see a difference ?
