Should I begin install this weekend?

I am suppose to receive my pioneer premier 880prs tomorrow and I get paid on Friday so I can buy wires and build a box. So far I only have the HU, idmax12, and dls a6 mono amp... didn't buy the drivers for my active DIY stage or amp to power it yet.

Should I...

1. install the premier 880prs and the idmax/A6 and have it hooked up to the stock speakers first

2. wait until I have the front stage and install EVERYTHING at once

3. install the HU and wait for the idmax to be installed the same time as the front stage

HELP! HELP! HELP!

ummmm its up to you plenty of ppl install their subs first then weeks later replace stock speakers

there is no law against installing a sub without a front stage

Would be even better to run your extra RCA's/trigger wire now for the comp amp. That way you won't have to pull the HU again...

I didn't want to be repeating steps when installing the 2nd amp, that's why I wanted to do it all at once, which would probably take FOREVER.

Probably have everything I need two weeks from now... I just need to decide on an amp for the front stage and get it.

Well a good place to star would be running all the wiring and hooking the hu up to the stock speakers... that's a good full days work anyways. Then you'll have tunes and your car put together and you can take your time building a nice box and deciding how/where to install the amp...

I usually do it that way in two stages... HU/wiring on one day, speaker/amps on another day...

alright thanks, I'll probably just install HU and try and figure out what all this wire talk is about...
