Hello all, well in other similiar posts I have told the tales of my successfull purchases car audio purchases from EBAY..I recieved ARC amps in immaculate condition for an AMAZING price.

I also had told of my winning of a "slightly used" Pioneer DEH-P9400MP on EBAY for $105.....Yet it literally took 1 month for my H/U to arrive????

It arrived Yesterday afternoon.....Wanting to open it quickly and Verify that this ordeal of thinking I had gotten the shaft was over......I opened the Box and immedietly looked to see it was in fact a Pioneer DEH-9300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now..initially I was quiet dissappointed...but if this H/U passes a bench test and I did in fact only pay $105 how would you take this?????

I was actually intent on a Pioneer 750MP..UNTIL I SAW THIS DEAL FOR A 9400..

So I am More upset about not being able to have the 9400 in my set up..rather than losing the mere $105..but I need some opinions on what you think.

OBVIOUS ANSWER- JUST GET A BETTER H/U LATER.but the problem still remains my budget for my system is going fast and a 9400 was my DREAM H/U...AND THIS A-HOLE LIED (I do not believe it was an Accident?)

report it to ebay.

instead of posting that here, report it now.

he prolly wasted as much time as possible to keep you from doing so. make sure you keep the packaging and the postage to proove when it was shipped. email all information regarding this to the ebay staff, let him know you are going to do so, and keep all the emails that you have sent or recieved to him in file.

if he posted that on ebay, then others simply have a right to know, and you might be able to get some kind of compensation if ebay takes action.

i would be happy tho. how much do those cost new?

Yes actually, you should be very, very angry. The auction was for a P9400, and you did not receive that. Report him to ebay. And dig up some more info and see what all else you can do to him.

Nice deck, but not what you wanted and not what you paid for. That's like walkin' into McDonalds, ordering a Big Mack and getting handed a 5-piece McNugget..........

I have had similar problems, on and off ebay.

PayPal will do nothing. eBay is your only hope and even then they will only send him an email saying a complaint has been filed etc. I would contact eBay to report the problem but then contact the seller and inquire about how you won a 9400 but you received a 9300 and want your 9400 model.

Search the forums and you will find my lessons learned on eBay also. Hopefully you paid with a credit card (ALWAYS DO THIS) and worst-case scenario you can dispute the charge with you CC company.

I myself would either want some cash back and keep the 9300, a full refund, or the 9400 as described in the auction.

Get what you paid for and return that headunit. I think that you will more than likely be screwed from the guy again anyway and he will say that it was a typo..."Oh, I meant 9300, not 9400"

okie.. it was a mistake on my part of putting 9400.. it is actually a 9300.. if you want you can return the radio.. and ill give you back your money.. although they both cost about the same..

**** TRIGGER...That was RUDE..I was honestly more concerned if you guys thought the 9300 was a BIG BUST over the 9400 for $105 and if I should file a complaint or be satisfied...

The initial purpose was also to get a feel on how you thought of the 9300 vs. 9400
