Should I add dash co-axes w/ my door comps?

It was suggested I add a 3.5 in my dash to compliment the Pioneer PRS 720's I will be installing in my doors. What do you all think, will this take away from the comps?

I personally don't mind a setup you are describing. Some people don't like it. Try it on for size, if you dont like it unhook the dash speakers. They could compliment the front stage if you had them amped seperately and could tweak the gains so as to keep the stage "balanced". "Balanced" is in the eye of the beholder though .

Personally I'd do some rear fill and leave that nice front stage alone.

screw the rear fill and yes add the 3.5"s. I had my CDT comps in the kick and added some 3.5" coaxs in the dash and amped those as well. Made a wonderful addition

If you really care about good frequency response and tonal balance, don't do it. They will mess up the response of the front stage and if they are reflecting off the dash the response will end up a giant mess of peaks and valleys.

I bought some cheap Blau's. If they sound like crap I'll put them in my boat. It will be fun playing with the different configuration. I will post results.

Well the Blaupunkt PCxb352 3.5's are loud as hell of my head unit while I'm still waiting for my back ordered 720's.
