Ok So far this is my plan

I plan on running 2 runs of 1/0 awg stinger hpm front to back for + and 1 run of monster 1/0 awg (the one without the plastic inside) for - I have already purchased a d3400 xs power for under the hood I have the copper bus bar which I plan on adding in the back for easy of wiring I also plan on doing the big 3 with 1/0 awg and upgrading to a dc power 270 amp alt I plan on adding more batteries in the back but don't know what I have room for yet as I don't want them visible. Everything is going underneath the cargo floor. I do had a d680 laying around that i will probably add until I get bigger bats if they fit. and suggestion would be nice before I finally start installing. With that alt do I really need to many more batts or even small ones. can i get away with maybe 2 or 4 d680 s ? Thanks in advance

p.s. my sig has all the amps and stuff before anyone asks lol

I don't own a micrometer but it seems like the monster is a bit thicker than the stinger which is why I am using it for - and using 2 runs of stinger for +. I had donated a bunch of wire to my cousin and he didn't use it so when I get it back ill do some more runs. I am more uneasy about how manny batts I will need if I have a HO alt. Usually I don't care and add more batts But I am worried about space

I figured they are small so I might be able to mount the in different areas underneath and just run the wires to the buss bars 4 will give me 145ah give the batt under the hood. I never run it without the engine on so I think it should be fine. If I can add a bigger batt in the back I will but I won know until this weekend when I start building the false floor

save yourself the hassle and wire by just running a wire connecting the positive teminals. then just ground out the rear battery to the chassis
in unibody vehicles there is a high level of resistance in the chassis itself. for optimal performance run a neg from front to back.

I am going to do the big three and run both - and + from front to back If I find an open whole in the back I will be running an extra ground in the back just for the hell of it I have 3 runs of monster 1/0 awg(old school with out the plastic center) and a spool of 50 feet of stinger hpm 1/0 so I should be fine. I just want to have everything done right plus I know the better you make it for the amp to receive current the less heat it will tend to produce sometimes and in Miami less heat is very much welcomed.

well I started the install last night and now know I can only install 2 d925 batts in the back. I hope thats enough so in total I will end up with 2 d925 and 1 d3400 under the hood with a future order for a dc power alt . let me know what your concerns are with this.
