setting up mb quarts

i just got a set of mb quart rce 216's and was planning on having them in the back of an ext. cab truck, my question is is it ok to have the speakers up high and point to the front? and mount the tweeter pointing across the truck??, or should i monut the speakers mid height pointing at eachother across the back seat?? ive never really used anything than stock holes so i don't know whats best. also im starting with no ounting location, so i planned on making small boxes for these out of 3/8-1/2" MDF. is there any specific volume that helps??? or should i have a few holes in the box so there not sealed????

It is recommended that they only be installed in a Free air enviroment. Don't think sticking it in a box will do you any good.
